Two Rivers Coffee Sampler Review
In my world, it doesn’t get much better than a good cup of coffee. I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was to get to do this review. I love coffee. I mean, I LOVE COFFEE! I also love tea and cocoa, but I really, really love coffee. I have been on pins and needles waiting for this sampler box from Two Rivers to arrive.
As soon as the box arrived, I quickly began to rate the coffees. I’ll spare you the details and simply talk about the best and the worst of the group. The worst coffee in the group, in my humble opinion, was a decent cup of coffee. I mean, the worst of the coffees could not replace my favorite usual coffee at home, but if I worked in an office that only had this brand, I could happily drink it everyday. This is the worst thing I can say about the coffees that I’ve tried. This is shocking to me since I am getting picky about my coffee lately.
Don’t you just love that sound?
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the best of the coffees that I tried (and there were many of them) elicited an actual “Whoa” and “Wow!” from me. I kept thinking that I just got lucky and pulled the best coffee cup from the box, but the experience kept repeating itself.
I started looking for coffees that I thought I wouldn’t like, but I liked them, too. Brooklyn Bean Roast Cyclone is a dark roast coffee. I don’t usually like dark roast coffees because they tend to be too bitter. Not this dark roast. It is so smooth. I gave it a nice sweet blonde makeover because that is how I drink all my coffees.
One of my favorite things about trying samplers is getting to do just that… Sample. I like to try different things. That is fun. I also like knowing that it is really good before I buy a case of them. Samplers in general are a great way to discover your new favorite brand or flavor. I think I have several new favorites.
My favorite is Guy Fieri Caramel Apple Bread Pudding flavored coffee. Just the mention of it makes my mouth water. What’s not to like? Caramel Apple and Bread Pudding together in a coffee. This was the first one that I tried, and it set the stage for many more delicious cups of coffee.
Hamilton Mills Blueberry Pie flavored coffee was also soooo good. Other coffees that otherwise would have been new favorites of mine had trouble rising to the standard set by these two coffees.
I must give some yummy shouts out to Java Factory Trick or Treat Pumpkin & Marshmallow, Workaholics Half Christmas Blend Hazelnut, and Brooklyn Bean Roastery Gingerbread Man. Java Factory Roastery Spring Break, Hamilton Mills Raspberry, Brooklyn Bean Roastery Breakfast Blend Decaf (Did I really choose a decaf?), Java Factory Choconut, and Brooklyn Bean Roastery Cinnamon Subway are also some of my top picks.
