THE JOURNEY: A Music Special from Andrea Bocelli combines world-class musical performances with intimate conversations across the awe-inspiring Italian countryside. Musical guests include Michael W. Smith, Tori Kelly, Tauren Wells, TAYA, and many others in amazing musical performances across majestic locations.
So much beauty in one special! The scenery was spectacular. The filming locations were incredible. The music was gorgeous. The singing was absolutely incredible as one would expect from Andrea Bocelli. Michael W. Smith’s voice seemed a bit out of place. He is an incredibly talented musician, singer, and songwriter, but he sounded like a muppet alongside this group of voices. Taya and Tauren Wells held their own with Andrea Bocelli in a trio that was nothing less than awe inspiring.
The songs were a mix of Christian and secular songs although most were Christian. The conversations were a mix of Italian with subtitles and English. The Journey is the perfect movie night for someone who just wants to hear some of the most talented voices of our day sing with some of the most spectacular settings imaginable. Just sit back, relax, enjoy, and be entertained.
