Dove Men +Care Dry Spray

I am a busy mom with two teenage boys so I am very excited to get to try this Dry Spray.   We are a soccer family.  My husband and boys can get quite smelly very quickly.  I am always looking for new ways to fight odor and sweat.

My Impressions

I am impressed with the Dove Dry Spray.  I liked the texture of it.  It didn’t feel wet going on.  I also liked that the scent was light and airy.  It doesn’t have a heavy fragrance that lingers.  I felt dry and fresh even on my busiest days. Granted, I didn’t do any hardcore workouts, but I’m avoiding exercise at the moment.  I did feel confident in hugging people at church even after a full day of chauffeuring my teenagers to bowling league and running errands before church.

My Husband’s Impressions

My husband finds that this is much better than his normal everyday deodorant/antiperspirant.  He liked that it doesn’t cake up like stick deodorants usually do.  While he liked it better than his normal brand, he found that it was less effective on nervous sweat although, to be fair, we haven’t found an antiperspirant that is effective on his nervous sweat.  He was less excited about the scent.  He wished it had a more masculine fragrance… perhaps something to make his wife swoon!

My Soccer-Playing Teenage Son’s Impression

I had my son use it on a soccer practice day to give it a true workout (Pun intended).  He found that it controlled his sweat much better than other antiperspirants that he has used.  I, bravely, put my face into his armpit after practice because I love you guys just that much!!!  It was entirely tolerable.  Normally, after a soccer practice, I don’t want to be in the same room.  It’s rancid really… so tolerable is a huge improvement.

Final Thoughts

We are all very impressed with the Dry Sprays.  I don’t know that they will be replacing our everyday regular brands, but I will be buying more and keeping these around for days that need a little more dryness.  Couldn’t we all use a little more dryness some days?
