I drew a yellow heart using a standard highlighter (not pictured) on the title page in the beginning of the Spiral Bible. I pressed down firmly and colored over it until the page seemed “wet”. There was no bleeding to the back of the page, but there was the appearance of a wet page after it dries… you know, kind of bubbled in appearance. The next page was not affected at all. You could absolutely use a standard wet highlighter marker in the Spiral Bible as long as you don’t press down too firmly or saturate the page, but I will continue to use the Bible highlighters (gel highlighter) with no bleeding because it is my preference. As a lefty, it won’t bleed onto my hand that way either.
The lined sections have plenty of room for taking notes, brainstorming, or word studies. I had no problem expressing my thoughts, and I feel like I have an oversized handwriting. Even the typed text left plenty of white space for short notes, doodles, and arrows/symbols.
I love the Spiral Bible and will absolutely be buying more. This is a great legacy Bible to share with your children and grandchildren. Your thoughts on the Word of God in your handwriting to pass down for generations.
