I am still on an ice cream kick. I decided that peanut butter would go very well with the Homemade Chocolate Magic Shell that I made yesterday. This peanut butter sundae was a hit with my guys. They are huge peanut butter fans.
This peanut butter sauce is thick and rich. It is not too sweet, in my humble opinion. The nutty flavors of both the peanut butter and the coconut oil complement and enhance one another. I will definitely be making this gem again and again.
Are you ready to make a peanut butter sundae? Check out the recipe below!
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Peanut Butter
- 1/3 Cup Coconut Oil
- Ice Cream
Instructions
- Put the peanut butter and coconut oil in a microwavable dish. Microwave them for about 20 seconds. Stir. Repeat as needed. My microwave only took one and a half interval.
- Allow it to cool to room temperature. Drizzle over ice cream and enjoy.
- DO NOT REFRIGERATE. You can store it in an air tight jar at room temperature.
- Yummy!
