My boys are home from church camp. I missed them so much and wanted to do something really special for them. We made them an orange cream sundae as a surprise. I love a good orange cream sundae! Don’t you?
I decided that ice cream sundaes would be a perfect treat. Remembering fond memories of summer treats from my own childhood, I decided to make an orange cream topping that reminds me of Dreamsicles. You remember Dreamsicles? They were vanilla ice cream on a stick covered in orange Popsicle. They were so good, and this topping over vanilla ice cream has that same orange and creamy vanilla goodness.

Ingredients
- 1 Large Box of Orange Jello
- 1 Large Box of Vanilla Cook & Serve Jello Pudding
- 2 Cups Water
- Vanilla Ice Cream
Instructions
- Pour Water into a medium sauce pan and heat over medium heat until warm. Add orange jello powder while whisking it into the warm water. Add vanilla pudding powder while whisking. Whisk over heat until it thickens nicely and can coat the back of a spoon. Take it off of heat and let it cool to room temperature. You will want to whisk it every so often to keep lumps at bay.
- Once it has cooled enough, pour over vanilla ice cream and serve. Yummy Treat!
