It’s Christmas Again Movie Review

Many thanks to Mapelle Films for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.

.

I just watched It’s Christmas Again with my husband. As society becomes more and more hostile to the gospel message and Christian values, especially in entertainment, I welcome the opportunity to see more movies and entertainment with a good, wholesome message. I wasn’t sure this movie would fit the bill. I was expecting a musical about Christmas to be cheesy and stereotypical, but instead I was delighted to find a fun and encouraging movie that emphasizes the importance of Jesus and all the charity, love, kindness, and mercy that Jesus stood for.

It’s Christmas Again is a welcome change of pace. This musical movie follows Jake Young as he comes to discover the true meaning of Christmas along with the importance each person plays in the lives of others. What we do actually matters, and we can make a difference. The synopsis in the next paragraph is straight from the press release, but it is an accurate description.

Jake Young (Lawson Touliatos) wants nothing more than to spend his Christmas vacation with his girlfriend, Abbey Walker (Leela Owen). So when Abbey volunteers for her church’s Christmas play, Jake is ready to skip Christmas this year until an unexpected turn of events lands him in a field outside Bethlehem on the night Jesus was born. While on his journey with the shepherds to find the promised Messiah, Jake discovers the true meaning of Christmas. Coming this Christmas season, IT’S CHRISTMAS AGAIN is a modern-day musical the whole family will love!

While I’m always hesitant to vouch for the whole family, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I would enthusiastically bring children and teens to see this movie. It’s Christmas Again has a powerful and straightforward message that is anti-self-centered with a definite outreach agenda which is a breath of fresh air in my opinion.

This movie is available for ONE DAY ONLY, November 29, 2022. You need to hurry up and order your tickets here. Do not wait! This is a great family night out activity for the holidays.

  1. My favorite Christmas memory will always be going to my grandma’s house to visit and exchange gifts! Sadly she passed away in ‘97! Now that I have 8 kids of my own , we go to my parents house on Christmas Eve, to have Christmas dinner and exchange presents with my sister plus her family, and my brother plus his family!

  2. Going to my grandmas, opening presents with all my relatives (and there is a lot of us), then having a huge paper ball fight and lots of laughing.

  3. My favorite memory is a compilation of memories swirling around the last Christmases I spent with a friendd or family members before their always seemingly untimely passings.

  4. My nephew’s first Christmas was very memorable. My great grandma was still alive and we got to celebrate the holidays with five generations.

  5. My favorite Christmas memory was going to see the Radio City Music Hall Christmas show with the Rockettes when I was a kid.

  6. My favorite Christmas Memory is all of them with my daughter, decorating the tree and just being together as a family.

  7. My favorite Christmas memory was when I was a child maybe 4 years old and I wanted a doll that was on the front of the Christmas Catalog. Santa got me that doll I could not believe it I so remember that day. 50ish years later I still have that doll.

    1. My favorite Christmas memory was going to my grandma’s and grandpa’s house and having tacos on Christmas Day which was a family tradition. We also played games, read the Christmas story, opened gifts, and put together a Christmas play/production in the basement. Those are treasured memories and good times!

  10. My favorite Christmas memory as a child was riding in the car with my family through our neighborhood on Christmas Eve night, viewing all the decorated houses where Santa would be visiting.

  11. A memory I adore and love to tell is when my mom, sister and I were all asleep after watching movies on Christmas Eve and waking up to gifts under the tree on Christmas Day. It was Magical, it felt like Santa must have done this, as we were all asleep and no one was up. Even finding out if Santa wasn’t behind it, I felt that day was the most magical moment I can say that made me believe in Santa.
