I made this cow craft to go with a preschool Bible lesson on Pharaoh’s dream with the fat and skinny cows. This could certainly work with a letter C lesson, farm animals lesson, milk lesson, cowboys lesson, along with so many more.

I am not known for my artistic ability. Quite the opposite, in fact. In college, my art professor called my paper mache animal “road kill”. I made an A on it because we were graded according to our ability level. That means that across the board, everything I turned in that semester was “road kill” quality work.
I went looking for a cow craft to do with a terrific group of kids. I couldn’t really find anything that I liked so I created this. I actually drew this myself. I thought I did a pretty good job, but my self-confidence in artistic things is so low that I brought this to each member of my family and asked, “What animal is this?” You have no idea how relieved and delighted I was to hear each person answer, “Cow?”.
Okay, so they each believed that I had completely lost my mind, but, nevertheless, my drawing looks like a cow. When they have me committed, at least I’ll have the peace of knowing that I can draw a cow. Just kidding.
