Chicken Breasts and Stuffing is always a hit with my guys. One of my sons went back for forth. My husband was a little nervous when he got home from work a little late, and one of our sons announced that he was going back for more. “Save me some!” my husband yelled. Our son just laughed.

It seems like survival of the fittest … and fastest… with teenage boys in the house.

They may like this meal because it tastes good, but I like this meal because it is so darn easy. Yep! You know I’m always good for an easy meal. This is no exception.

***A dear reader has asked me on Facebook about using frozen chicken breasts in the slow cooker. I would like to thank her for her questions because it prompted me to do more research. Honestly, frozen chicken breasts are the way I have always done it. Before writing this recipe, I did a little research and found a few sources that I felt were reputable that said that frozen chicken breasts in the slow cooker tasted fine, and I was satisfied with that answer and never looked into the safety. After my reader’s questions, I dug in a little deeper.
The USDA recommends that all meats be thawed before placing them in the slow cooker. I will now recommend thawing before slow cooking.***

That’s it!
Put dinner together in the slow cooker in a few minutes then you don’t have to think about dinner until dinner time.
