Our cats and other pets are such an important part of our lives.  We certainly don’t want to leave them out of our holiday celebrations, but my cats have NEVER ONCE completed even a single Christmas Wish List no matter how much I beg.  That’s okay!  This Cat Gift Guide is filled with everything your cat is secretly longing for but doesn’t have the vocal abilities or dexterity to tell you.

Cat Gift Guide

1. Cat Trees & Cat Condos

Cat trees and cat condos come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and price points.  They are the perfect place for kitty to sleep, sunbathe, hide, stretch out, or sharpen his claws.  Many cat trees have cat condos on them.

2.  Water Fountain

My cats absolutely love getting their water straight from the source.  That source might be a faucet, fountain, or toilet, but bowls of water just won’t do.

3.  Cat Treats

‘Tis the season for indulging in decadent party foods and generous meals.  Our cats enjoy special treats for the holidays, too.

4.  Cat Toys

Yes, I know the links below are filled with make up brushes.  Oddly, these are my cats’ favorite toys.  Q-Tips are pretty popular with them as well.

For you traditionalists, here are some classic cat toys.

5.  Cat Grass

Cats love eating cat grass, and, as a bonus, it could deter them from eating other household plants.

6.  Catnip

Catnip products come in so many forms.  Toys filled with catnip, catnip sprays, and even a catnip plant can be a special gift for kitty.

7.  Cat Bed

Okay, I admit this would not be a good gift for my cats.  They would rather sleep in the middle of the cold, hard floor than on anything I bought specifically for them to sleep in, but perhaps your cat would appreciate it.

8.  Cat Grooming Supplies

This is especially important for long-haired cats like our Callie or cats who spend some time outside.  Grooming supplies can help to keep fur from clumping or can remove unwanted tree bits from their fur.

9.  Empty Cardboard Boxes

You do realize that you can order just about anything from Amazon or a similar retailer and get a FREE box for kitty.  Treat yourself to something special and get a free gift for your cat.  Win-Win!

10.  You

No gifts (not even cardboard boxes) will be more valuable to your cats than loves and cuddles from you.  We can all use a little extra love this time of year.
