I am super excited to get to sample and review this Altruistic Joe Coffee because this coffee comes from a Veteran-owned small business. As the proud wife of a Desert Storm/Desert Shield War Vet, I jumped at the chance to review this coffee. I was a little nervous that I might not like it and would have to give it a completely honest review, but my nervousness was unfounded. Altruistic Joe Coffee is a really good, smooth cup of coffee.
How to Support Altruistic Joe, a Veteran-Owned Coffee Company! By buying from veteran-owned businesses, your order will be far more appreciated, significant, and impactful for the business than it will be when you support big companies. The first coffee I tried was the Cream & Crimson Blend with Caramel, Dried Fruit, and Citrus notes. It was so good that it could easily become my new everyday coffee. I don’t like much bitterness in my coffee at all, and this coffee was so smooth and easy to drink. After trying all the blends in the sample pack, Cream & Crimson was easily my favorite.
Next, I tried the Wake Up Espresso with notes of Brown Sugar, Cocoa, and Dried Fruit. I did not expect to like it, but I was so wrong. Another delicious and smooth cup of coffee. The Big Iron Blend with notes of Milk Chocolate, Dried Fruit, and Light Smoke was next, and it is definitely my second favorite blend. The last blend I tried was the Smokehouse Dark Roast with Big Body, Dark Chocolate, and Smoke notes. I am convinced that they don’t make a coffee I don’t like.
There are coffees that exist that I do not like. I bought one not too long ago and forced myself to drink it because I hate waste, but I enjoyed these blends down to the last drop. I am not usually this easy to please.
